Player chips tooth during chest bump

When executing a leaping chest bump without a helmet, it’s wise to not lead with your two front teeth. Seattle Seahawks defensive end Red Bryant learned that the hard way on Thursday night when he chipped a tooth while celebrating a safety near the sideline.

“I hate to report that Red chipped a tooth during the sideline celebration after Jay Howard’s safety,” head coach Pete Carroll told reporters after the game. “So he’ll be getting a little dental work on that tomorrow. I think it was on the top, I don’t know.”
